Industrial furnaces for automotive

An automotive industrial furnace heat-treats metal  parts for strength, durability, and safety.

NUTEC Bickley and the Automotive Industry

An automotive industrial furnace is used for automotive parts manufacturing to heat-treat metal components, so they meet the right strength, hardness, and durability.

Without going through those furnaces for treatments, automotive parts would wear faster, break under stress, or fail safety standards.

They’re essential to ensure reliability, performance, and safety in vehicles.

Key considerations for an automotive industrial furnace

Temperature control & uniformity The automotive industry requires tight tolerances. Even small temperature variations can affect the metallurgical results.
Maintenance Downtime in automotive production is extremely costly.
Throughput & production volume Automotive manufacturing is high-volume, so the equipment must meet production targets.
Footprint & integration Space is costly in production facilities.
Energy efficiency & operating cost Furnaces consume high levels of energy, so efficiency directly impacts profitability.
Product quality requirements It is required to meet strict automotive standards and certifications.
Process control & automation Modern automotive plants require data acquisition and automation for proper quality control.

What are the types of Automotive industrial furnaces?

NUTEC Bickley's box furnaces are ideal for intermittent or batch processes where the product is front loaded directly into the furnace with the help of a forklift/handling gear.

We manufacture heavy duty car bottom furnaces in custom designs and dimensions. They have the ability to handle large/heavy loads.

NUTEC Bickley supplies drop bottom furnaces of different sizes to match customer production and process requirements for aluminum heat treatment.

We provide a wide range of rotary with dimensions from 1.5 m3 to 18 m3 (5 ft3 - 60 ft3) diameter. Much of the ancillary equipment can be supplied by Nutec Bickley with our rotary furnaces.

Roller Hearth Furnaces are versatile, efficient and mostly used for index moving of work load baskets. They can also be set up in an oscillating configuration for long heating cycles on very long stock such as pipe, tubing, strip, and slabs.

Chain conveyor ovens and furnaces can be provided for temperature ranges from 93ºC (200ºF) to 650ºC (1,200ºF) to perform in the following industries.
