Related Processes

NUTEC Bickley’s industrial heating solutions encompass quite distinct processes, each delivering optimal results for your operations.

Heating/Reheating

NUTEC Bickley’s heating/reheating furnaces prior to forging include fibre-lined sections using our patented Jointless® system, free of joints, which reduces maintenance requirements and fibre shrinkage. The combustion system options include our IMPS® pulsed firing system, and the most advanced heat recovery systems employing recuperative burners or central recuperation systems.

Heat Treating

Involves the use of heating or cooling, normally to extreme temperatures, to achieve the desired result such as hardening or softening of a material. Heat treatment techniques include austenitizing, tempering, normalizing, solution and aging for aluminum, and others. Find out more about our equipment for this process and what heat treating entails.

Quenching

NUTEC Bickley provides quench tanks to complete the austenitizing and aluminum solution heat treating process. These are custom designed to meet each customer's particular production and process demands. Find out more about our equipment for this process and what quenching entails.

Technology

SCADA

With our SCADA systems, kilns operators are able to have complete control of their firing process, enhancing efficiency and productivity.

IMPS™

NUTEC Bickley’s unique firing and cooling pulsing control system provides a perfect solution in relation to temperature uniformity as well as fuel efficiency.
